1. National Pet Week– The week of May 1-7 is National Pet Week so many pet and grocery stores will have deals on pet food. Check your online circulars and emails. Here is a high-value coupon to help with your savings. I will add more coupons as I find them so stop back often! 🙂

2. Spring Apparel- Raincoats, rain boots, jackets and other spring apparel will all be on sale so stores can make room for summer stuff. Make sure you shop through Rakuten before making online purchases for cash back!

3. Tax Software- Since the deadline to file taxes has been extended to May 17, 2021, tax software will be a good purchase price.

4. Cinco De Mayo- May 5th is Cinco de Mayo so things like salsa, tortillas, hot sauce, tortilla chips and guacamole will all be on sale. Brighten the mood with some inexpensive festive decorations

5. Berries- It is berry season so look for sales on strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and anything else berry!

6. Easter Clearance – Decor and paper goods of course will be on sale but also look for discounted small toys that you can use as a stocking stuffers or to go along with birthday gifts/goodie bags. Also, some spring generic gifts will also be on sale.

7. Vacuum Cleaners– People are in the throws of spring cleaning so new vacuums are sale.

8. Sunscreen– As you know, warmer weather means more outside time so don’t for get the sunscreen! The deals will be going on now to encourage you to purchase. Along those lines the mosquitos will be out shortly too so buy the bug spray.

9. Summer Cookout Foods- As we get closer to Memorial Day Weekend, condiments such as ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, etc. will all be on sale. Check your grocers online circular for the deals. Also, chips and pretzels will be on sale as well.

10. Meats- Hot dogs, ground beef, chicken and London broil will all be on sale towards the end of May. We always stock up around now and freeze lots of meats that we purchase at a good price for summer.
