Here it is May already… time to shop for discount items available this month!

1. Although I am cutting it close… Cinco de Mayo brings sales to stores. Stock up on tortillas, shredded cheese, avocados and salsa!

2. Right behind that is Memorial Day… stores assume you will be getting ready for barbecues so they will have things like ice cream, ground beef, steaks and berries on sale. Also, this is a great time to stock up on condiments, salad dressings and water!

3. There will also be many Memorial Day sales on appliances… if you have been waiting, now is the time to replace your old appliances!

4. Summer is right around the corner and you will need sunscreen and repellent. There are lots of coupons out there right now and there will be lots of deals around Memorial Day weekend and the end of May so get ready!

5. Spring clearance on clothes… You will start to see some of the early spring clothes items go on sale. Also anything left from winter will now be deeply discounted. Pick through and grab what you need
